The photo says it all. Yesterday Riverland had the grand opening of the South phase of the Sports Complex which features 8 new pickleball courts plus 8 additional covered pickleball courts. This is just a phase of things to come. With Valencia Vista the West Sports Complex will be breaking ground which will also have a first for a community in Port St. Lucie with Indoor pickleball courts. As the sport continues to grow we see GL Homes upping their game in the amenities for not just pickleball but all fitness activities. Riverland will now have 53 pickleball courts and growing.
At the grand opening we had play with the pros to celebrate our new courts here. Besides the pickleball courts additional Bocce and tennis courts were also added plus a covered hydration area to relax. We have open play several times a day including 8-10am in the mornings which is separated into levels from beginner to experienced players. It’s a great opportunity to meet neighbors from any of the 5 Valencia communities including the new Valencia Vista which is the 5th and largest community.
With many courts you can play in private groups, reserve courts for larger groups or just go out and practice with your friends. You’ll always find a partner to play a game with no matter what time of day. The Open Play is my preferred pickleball event which you get to play many different opponents of all skill levels. It’s also a great place to meet other players for group play. We have several pickleball groups that you can sign up for and join them each day to improve your game. No matter what your level or play is you can always enjoy a day at the courts.
For those players stop in our Pro Shop and schedule a lesson or series of clinics to pickup tips to be a better player. From strategy to techniques sign up and improve your game. We have a great pro shop and teaching pros that are always available for you. For all you pickleball pro’s come see the 53 Pickleball Courts at Riverland.
