PGA Verano – Port St Lucie Florida

PGA Verano in Port St Lucie is an active community with many wonderful amenities and homes first started being built in 2007 and 2008. Built by Kolter Homes a premier builder in South Florida the original design of homes had that popular Mediterranean style with red Barrel tile roofs which has since changed in the newer sections of the community. The Verano South community design is now that more modern look with more white, beige and grey house colors and many going to flat tile roofs. Cresswind at PGA Verano is a 55+ section of the community and features approximately 200 single family one story homes. Homes range from 1,500 from 2,500 sq. ft.

What you will notice that differentiates PGA Verano from other Port St Lucie Communities like Riverland is Riverland has only single story homes which gives the feel of a more open space in the community. Many of the larger homes in Verano are two story while the smaller homes in most cases are one story. The other feature you will notice are many of the homes have 11ft ceilings throughout versus the more typical 9 or 10ft ceilings. You will find homes and villas ranging from 1,200 sq. ft to over 3,000 sq. ft.

You will notice the sheer number of waterfront homes here in Verano. As you drive the main roadway through the community you will find different collections of homes down each street. Amenities for PGA Verano start at the Talavera social club where you will find the fitness center featuring cardio and elliptical machines plus a circuit training regimen. Take a look at the Verano Smartfit training center which is a full size strength and aerobic circuit.

You will enjoy the indoor lap pool plus resistance pool along with the outside Resort style pool with cabanas. For the sports enthusiast you can enjoy the 27 pickleball courts second only to the 53 Pickleball courts at Riverland. Of course you will find plenty of indoor amenities including billiards and card rooms, ballroom with catering kitchen, arts & crafts rooms plus the demonstration kitchen.

The biggest draw to the community is the access for residents of PGA Village to the PGA Golf Club offering 54 holes designed by Pete Dye and Tom Fazio.
