What’s make Living in Riverland Port St Lucie so much fun? There are many 55+ communities in the state of Florida and the Villages is probably the most well known and one of the largest 55+ communities in Florida. Before I visited Riverland I had seen many other active adult communities in the area and what drew me to Valencia Parc was the opportunity to build a brand new home. With many different floorplans and sizes I found the perfect home. I decided on the Bimini model which features just under 2,400 sq. ft of living space plus the option to add a golf cart garage.

You can pick many different back yards from homes facing a neighbors home separated by bushes or maybe back up to one of the main roads and have no neighbor behind you. Of course the most popular are water view homes that not only give you no neighbor directly behind you but you can enjoy the water views while sitting on your patio. Of course there is an added premium for a water lot but well worth the extra dollars.

The biggest attraction of living in Riverland Port St. Lucie was not only the newness of the community but all it offered in a lifestyle. Sure there are active adult communities and there are not so active communities as well. After looking at different communities Riverland was not to large and not to small but offered the best bang for the buck for amenities. Being an active person that was the most important feature.

Being a new community all your neighbors are moving in at a similar timeframe so you will find the community quite friendly and inviting as everyone is anxious to meet and enjoy the lifestyle offered in Riverland.

Amenities in Riverland

This is what you are buying in Riverland. You will find the amenities second to none. From each social club in the different Valencia communities which offers resort style pool area, restaurant/bar are to hang out plus the multi -purpose room which can be set up for shows and events. Don’t miss the numerous card rooms plus the food and dining center down by the Paseo Park.

The four Valencia communities share a spectacular sports complex which is in the process of being upgraded and enlarged. From pickleball courts plus tennis and Bocce. Outside lap pools plus a resistance pool and outdoor spas. Inside you will find fitness center, gymnasium where you can play volleyball or basketball. You will find many classes including Yoga, Pilates, stretching classes and more. Don’t miss the inside lap pool for those rainy days. The new Riverfresh Cafe is a great place to have a shake or snack after working out. The best feature is you can take the Paseo which runs between the communities and take your golf cart to get around.
