The GL Homes Riverland Signature Collection features 4 model homes ranging from 2,167 to 2,352 sq. ft under air. This is one of the most popular collections and a step above the GL Homes Riverland Regal Collection due to the homes are not to small or to large. The Atlantica model is 2,167 sq. ft under air and is a 2 bedroom 2.5 bath with an optional 3rd bedroom/den space available. The kitchen features an L shaped kitchen with a large island in the center of the kitchen overlooking the great room and dining area. This model is very similar to the Bimini model which offers one additional bedroom and an ensuite bath.
Similar to the Bimini model but excludes the extra space for 4th bedroom the Atlantica offers the option to extend the patio the length of the house and features the great room separated from the kitchen and dining area plus the breakfast area. The screened patio is open on all sides so you see houses on each side of you plus you don’t have a wall for outdoor grille or TV. The 2nd bedroom is not an ensuite which is offered by the Bimini model. The ability to add the golf cart garage is another very popular feature. It also offers the 12 ft coffered ceiling in the entrance foyer. The laundry room is off the garage with a large storage area behind the laundry room. Most buyers opt to go to the Bimini model for the extra $25,000. Starting prices on the Atlantica are around $575,000 and the golf cart garage will add approximately $25,000 to the base price.
As you enter the front entrance you will find a foyer with 12 ft to 13 ft coffered ceilings. The half bath and laundry room which features a large storage space can be entered through the garage. The standard covered patio is 20 ft by 9 ft wide but can be extended an additional 15 ft to run the entire length of the back side of the house. The Atlantica also features the two car garage which can be extended 2 ft for larger vehicles and storage. This is the entry model that has the available separate golf cart garage which is popular for full time residents with two cars and the space to get a golf cart. This is a very popular model in the GL Homes Riverland Collection.

Costa Model
2,155 sq. ft under air to 2,926 sq. ft total with golf cart option

The Costa model is similar in size to the Atlantica at 2,155 sq. ft but features a side loading garage which many buyers like the look of a side load garage. The 2 bedroom 3 bath with an additional 3rd bedroom/den home features one bedroom with ensuite bath. It also features a front foyer with 12 to 13 ft coffered ceilings. The L shaped kitchen with large island facing the great room plus dining room on the side. The primary suite has two walk in closets plus a spacious bath with shower. The laundry room is located off the garage but is on the other side of the hallway. The large covered patio is 25 ft by 10 ft and can be screened as well. This model offers standard the extra 2 ft garage at 21 ft deep plus the optional golf cart garage option.
The Costa model is similar to the Palazzo model in layout but offers an ensuite 2nd bedroom and a full 3rd bathroom. The nice feature to the model is the kitchen island is not behind the living area which offers a bit more space for seating. The foyer offers a 12 ft coffered ceiling which connects the two guest bedrooms. The separate laundry room is off the hallway of the 2nd bedroom. The living room features 4 sliders which open to the screened patio which has a wall for hanging a TV or adding an outdoor kitchen. The Costa has the side load garage which some people like and other don’t. It gives the house a more appealing look not seeing the garage but does make it more challenging to pull in two cars. The optional golf cart garage can be added to the front side of the garage. The standard garage is about a foot deeper than most garages as you don’t have the ability to extend the garage as with a front loading garage. The Costa starts around $586,000.

Palazzo

The Palazzo model is a 3 bedroom 2.5 bath plus optional 4th bedroom/ den with 2,102 sq. ft under air. The double front doors enter the 9ft to 10 ft coffered ceiling. The guest bedrooms share the second bath. The L shaped kitchen with center island overlooks the great room with a dining area at the back of the home. The primary suite features two walk in closets plus a shower in the primary bath. The primary also offers an optional French door to enter the 25 ft by 12 ft deep patio which has a wall of sliders on the back wall to the patio, The two car garage plus standard golf cart garage is on large garage and not a separate golf cart garage. This is also a very popular model in the Signature Collection at GL Homes in Riverland.
The Palazzo is easily recognized as it feature the 2 car garage and single golf cart garage door next to it so it does give the appearance of mostly garage from the street. The front entrance is angled at a 45 degree where you enter into a 9ft coffered ceiling instead of the 12ft in the other models in the Signature Collection by GL Homes. Most buyers like the big open garage space even if they don’t have a golf cart for storage or easy access from your cars. This model does feature and extra deep covered patio that is about 2+ feet deeper than most. Like several other models you can add an optional French door off the master suite to access the patio. The Palazzo does not feature an ensuite bedrooms and the 2nd and 3rd bedroom share the full bath. The laundry room is off the garage entrance into the house and has enough room for washer/dyer and optional sink. One of my favorite features of this model is the whole back wall is sliders which bring in lots of natural light and offer expansive views. One of the negative features is the great room is very tight backing up against the kitchen island. The Palazzo starts about $595,000.

Bimini Model
2,352 sq. ft under air to 3,111 sq. ft total with golf cart option

The last and probably the most popular model in this collection is the Bimini model and the largest at 2,352 sq. ft under air. It features 3 bedrooms plus a 4th bedroom/den feature as well as 3 full baths. The one guest bedroom does feature an ensuite bath. As you enter the foyer you find a 12 to 13 ft coffered ceiling. The open floorplan features an L shaped kitchen with pantry plus a large island angled towards the great room and dining room. The L shaped covered patio is 25 ft wide by 9 ft deep extending to 17ft. The 2 car garage can be extended 2 ft to 21 ft and if you add the optional golf car garage it is also widened by an extra 2 ft for more space in the golf cart garage. You can see why this is the most popular model in the Signature Collection.
The Bimini model is the largest model in the Signature Collection in Riverland and one of the most popular. The covered entry opens with a single door with sidelight into the 12ft coffered ceiling. The 2nd bedroom features ensuite bath with optional shower feature in place of a tub. The kitchen and great room is where you will find the extra space in this home. The kitchen island angles to the great room and has both a formal dining area and breakfast nook. The double slider and triple slider on the back of the home open up to an L shaped patio which like others can be extended an additional 10ft past the covered standard patio. Like the Palazzo it offers the extra 4th bedroom/den off the foyer entrance. The two car garage can be extended an additional 2 ft which will allow a full size pickup to fit in the garage. When you extend it and add the optionally golf cart garage the golf cart garage is also widened an extra 2 ft for additional storage. One of the features I do like about the Bimini is the laundry room entrance off the garage has space for laundry plus additional storage or benches on the opposite side. It’s really a true so called mud room. The extra space and layout of this model is also an added benefit and the living space feels much larger than the other models in the Collection.
